Jim has practised law in Saskatchewan since 1977 and is a partner with Scharfstein Gibbings Walen Fisher LLP. Jim’s practice focuses on Corporate Commercial Law. Jim is an accredited mediator and has completed the program on negotiation at Harvard University in Boston. In addition to his law practice, Jim has served on the board of directors of many non-profit and for-profit corporations in Canada. In 1992, Jim was awarded a Commemorative Medal for the 125th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada and, in 2005, he was awarded a Saskatchewan Centennial Medal in recognition of service to the community.
